1- The most expensive coffee in the world is brewed from beans partially digested and defecated by toddy cats. How do you take your “poo”? With sugar and cream please.
2- The common bread ingredient L-cysteine is derived from human hair. Don’t believe it’s only hair from your head if you know what I mean; eeuww!
3- Chicken McNuggets contain industrial chemicals. TBHQ, a petroleum derivative, is used as a stabilizer in oil field chemicals amongst other things. TBHQ has been linked to stomach tumors. Another chemical used as an ingredient is Dimethylpolysiloxane which is a type of silicone. It is used as a filler for breast implants, and is the key ingredient in Silly Putty.
4- High-fructose corn syrup, found in many foods, is made using a toxic chemical catalyst known as glutaraldehyde. This chemical is so dangerous that small quantities can burn holes in the human stomach. It can also severely irritate the lungs, eyes and throat and can cause headaches or dizziness if inhaled.
5- The seed inside a peach contains a nut which holds a potent anti-cancer medicine called laetrile. This cure is one of many supressed by the FDA.
6- When microwave popcorn is cooked, it gives off a toxic chemical gas that damages the lungs. This chemical, called diacetyl, is the cause of a crippling and irreversible disease known as bronchiolitis obliterans. Most microwave popcorn companies stopped using diacetyl only to replace it with chemicals that have the exact same effects.
7- The chemicals in garlic are so potent that they can cause second or even third-degree burns when left long enough on the skin. In some cases the burns can be severe enough to require skin grafting.
8- A large number of processed foods contain a derivative of coal tar that has been linked to hyperactivity in children.
9- Every ounce of meat in the food industry is contaminated with mad cow disease. The only way to stay safe is by renouncing meat. “Mad cow disease is a progressive brain-wasting-disease that is always fatal. It is caused by a type of defective protein known as a prion and cannot be cured. The factory farming practices of feeding animals on the nervous tissue of other animals first caused the ballooning spread of mad cow disease and created the current crisis. When it became clear what had happened, many countries banned feeding the tissue of ruminants (cows, sheep and goats) to other ruminants. There’s just one problem: ruminant tissue (including nervous tissue) is still fed to everything else. That means that chicken, farmed fish, and any other kind of meat might contain mad cow prions.”-Mike Adams

Most of the points I knew about, but not the microwave popcorn. Though I don’t use a microwave myself, I know a lot of people who do and also do popcorn! Very disturbing, the more so because many people are not aware of these dangers.
I had no idea that HFCS could burn holes in the stomach!
Shocking, aint it?
Interesting and scary – now in my 40’s I am paying more attention to this! Great post, I will be including a link in one of my blogs soon!
Thank you Jackie and Noel, I really appreciate it.
Dear Writer
Undoubtedly the way of representation of facts is amazing.
Excellent article

Thanks Rajesh
Not sure about number 9. What about grass fed beef, bison, and vegetarian fed chicken? I am very careful about what meat I eat.
When we say “meat from the Food industry” we mean the mass production of meat that comes from it. Meat that comes from animals who were raised the way God wanted them to be raised in the natural way do not pose the dangers we have mentioned. Well done, keep eating clean.
Thank God for undergoing my hepatic liver cyst, since 2009 diagnosed and operated, until now I focused on fish and vegetable diet. Fruit juices added, a more healthy body. Am fond reading about healthy tips and write ups about it. Thank you.
You’re welcome and thank you for your comment. Stay Healthy 🙂
Even skinny people can have cellulite. It all depends on how your body stores fat. The remedy seems to be to prevent it by eating correctly, especially leading up to and after puberty. Our western diet of high-fat, high-sugar, high-carb foods is to blame for many health problems. Eat fresh food and read the labels of all packaged food before you buy them. It’s not the manufacturerers’ fault if we become ill or obese. We are responsible for our own health and well-being! 🙂

You too 🙂
The reason laetrile has been denied by the FDA is because it contains cyanide. Yes, laetrile (or Vitamin B17 as it’s also commonly known) is found naturally in apricot and apple seeds (I haven’t heard about it in peaches), it’s because of its toxicity that the FDA continues to deny its use in the US and Canada. Unfortunately, there are laetrile clinics in Mexico and, although the treatments usually cure the cancer, the patients usually die sometime thereafter from cyanide poisoning. 😦
One would think you are talking about chemotherapy 😦 ! I didn’t know about the cyanide, hopefully there is a way to isolate it.Thank you Sandy, great comment.
Thank YOU for the entire post. I shall never look at McNuggets the same again.

Thanks for the reblog, highly appreciated!
All if them were so shocking! Should follow a paleo diet.
Paleo is an option for those who can.
I ate raw garlic once because I thought I had intestinal bacterial issues and read that eating raw garlic would help. I threw up about 4 seconds later and haven’t had stomach issues since then. It packs a punch! Pretty amazing!
We use raw garlic for stomach problems at home all the time. It is quite helpful although we never had the kind of reaction you had. An extra perk of eating garlic regularly is that while it’s in your blood stream no vampire can touch you 🙂
I’m intrigued by the peach seed. I had breast cancer in my late 20s (no typical risk factors and no family history). Now that I’m just over 40 (and thankfully still here) I’m reading about all of these plants/foods that have cancer fighting properties. Wish I would have known some of this back then.
I was just reading about various types of mushrooms and their ability to prevent and fight cancer. Now I’ll be researching peaches and laetrile a bit more. Thanks for sharing this.
I actually wrote about mushrooms briefly in one of my articles here http://goo.gl/gbpZeB . Hope you get time to read it 🙂
I did not know that about number four: corn syrup. I have only ever eaten this once (unless it was in a cake someone baked me) and now I do not wish to eat it again.
I didn’t know about the peach seed, but everything else I’ve either heard of or it just doesn’t surprise me. I think maybe they’re trying to kill everybody via food.
Yes it looks like the food industry players don’t mind us dying slow painful deaths as long as they get richer.
I’ve heard of coal tar soap but not linked it to food, I’m always going on about the dangers of processed food so here’s another reason to avoid it.
Amazing isn’t it Val? Nowadays you wonder what they don’t use in processed food.
I’m too jaded to be shocked by anything anymore.
However, it’s yet another reason I’m SO glad we raise our own chickens!
I know the feeling, it’s like you expect every thing you eat to contain harmful ingredients. I wish I had space to raise my own chicken though.
Not just what I eat, at this point I pretty much expect *everything* to contain harmful stuff of some sort or other.
